[13] years ago, Taylor Swift came into the store (Top Shop, NYC) I was working in. I was assisting in the women's shoe section, and came before this tall young lady with a kind face. I greeted her and asked "if she needed any assistance", as She was smiling and responding "no thank you"... a co-worker slightly nudged me aside (I recall Taylor's smile fading at this rude gesture). I continued my rounds in the women's shoe section and another one of my co-workers came to me and she asked if I knew "who that young lady was?". I admittingly responded that I did not know. She said "that was Taylor Swift". I then asked "Who's Taylor Swift?". Well, of course I know who Taylor Swift is now. Congratulations on yet another award. [13] is my number too."
